Supports interpretation of polymer and additive data by means of special libraries.

Detected components can be easily and fast identified by Frontier F-Search software which utilizes a patented search algorithm. Results of unknown samples are compared with data sets compiled in different libraries. F-Search displays TIC and mass chromatogram on a single screen and also allows the operator to subtract interfering peaks from the target peak to obtain a high quality mass spectrum. This enables the analyst to characterize unknown materials rapidly and unambiguously. The search results are not affected by the type of separation columns or analytical conditions.

A complete F-Search package includes the basic search software and four unique libraries based on Pyrolysis-GC/MS data: 1. Polymers library, 2. Additive library, 3. Pyrolyzate library, EGA library.

A combination of the basic search software with one or more selected libraries is also available. And the software allows users to effortlessly construct their own libraries.

GC/MS data formats of Agilent, Shimadzu, and Jeol can be read directly without any translation or conversion. Data generated on other GC systems have to be converted into NetCDF (AIA) data file.
