JAS Preparative Fraction Collector for GC
The JAS Preparative Fraction Collector (EzPrep) is the ideal GC solution for automated and unattended collecting, purifying and isolating from trace levels to large volumes of components in a complex sample mixture.

Operational Mode
The sample is injected via either a capillary or packed column inlet. As the compounds elute from the analytical column, they are detected by a monitoring detector and sent to a trap for collection.
The peaks of interest are diverted to the temperature-controlled traps, using a sample distribution device and the retention time of the analytes. The entire process is controlled by the JAS PrepLab Software, which is embedded into the Agilent ChemStation and offers an automatic retention time adjustment.
After the components of interest have been separated from the sample matrix, the user can analyze the isolated compounds by other analytical techniques such as AED, MSD, NMR and UV-Visible.
