Robotic Autosampler 7500

The 7500 Robotic Large Volume Headspace & Canister Autosampler supports quantitative delivery of gas-phase headspace and canister samples to a GC or GC/MS. It handles solid, liquid, and gas phase samples. Gases are sampled and analyzed using either Vials ranging from 40 mL to 1000 mL, Silonite (fused silica) lined stainless steel MiniCans or deactivated glass canisters called Bottle-VacTM.

It can preheat samples from 30°C to 170°C prior to analysis and offers different tray and oven options. The 7500 can operate in either a static mode or under vacuum using Entech’s exclusive Pulsed Vacuum Extraction Headspace (PVEH) technique. LVSH Large Volume Static Headspace allows sampling of 1 to 800cc of headspace under equilibrium conditions, providing highly reproducible concentration determinations.

  • Automated Analysis of Liquid, Solid, or 100% Gas Phase Samples Compatible with loop injection or sample preconcentration with vacuum-tight sample vials up to 1000cc.
  • Sample Heating Automated sample heating from ambient to 150°C. The single position oven (used with the 13 position tray) provides exceptional large vial and canister heating capability; the 3-position oven is perfect for optimal sample loading and analysis throughput. A mixing oven for rapid  equilibration is also available.
  • Headspace Analysis using LVSH or PVEH Optimal performance and sensitivity analysis using Large Volume Static Headspace (LVSH) or Pulsed Vacuum Extraction Headspace (PVEH) techniques.
  • Flexible Automated Analysis Options Five different tray sizes hold a wide range of headspace vials (20mL to 1000mL) or MiniCans™ and Bottle-Vacs™ up to 1400mL.
  • Expandable System Connect a 7016 tower autosampler for automated analysis of large canisters. Optional oven units and trays expand capability and throughput.
